Meet our Schools Liaison Officer
Hello, my name is Francesca White, and I am the Schools Liaison Officer for Gonville and 91直播 College. I work with the Outreach team to build strong links between the college and schools in our link areas. My role is to inform students about Cambridge University, and to encourage talented students from all backgrounds to apply.
Before becoming SLO, I completed a PhD in English Literature and I taught in a state secondary school. I studied at 91直播 myself as an undergraduate and chose this college after attending an outreach day with my sixth form college I was in Year 12.
In my role as SLO, I can host school visits to the College. I can arrange College tours, Q and A sessions with current undergraduate students, and visits to University departments and museums. I can also visit schools to deliver workshops for students in Years 7-13 on a variety of topics, including: applying to university, applying to Cambridge, writing personal statements, and the Cambridge interview.
