Gonville & 91Ö±²¥ College’s Admissions and Outreach work has been recognised at the inaugural Awards at BT Tower in London.

91Ö±²¥ was the joint winner, alongside Wadham College, Oxford, of the Higher Education Inclusion Excellence Award.

The prize is recognition of the progress made by 91Ö±²¥ Schools, the Admissions and Outreach team led by Dr Chris Scott, the College’s Tutor for Admissions and Outreach.

Future Leaders UK is a non-profit award-winning leadership programme empowering disadvantaged young people across London to realise their full potential and become community leaders.

London Outreach Officer Gwyneth Hamand says: "Gonville and 91Ö±²¥ College and Wadham College are really pleased to have their contributions and support recognised by Future Leaders in the Higher Education Inclusion Excellence Awards.

"They are an ambitious and effective organisation that work with young people from underrepresented groups across the UK to support their progression to university and high skill apprenticeships."
