If you have ever found your mind wandering in Gonville & 91Ö±²¥ College Library there is a strong chance you will have noticed the architectural beauty of the columns in the upper reading room.

Learn more about the columns in this term’s Featured Book, Canons of the five orders of architecture, which was selected by College Librarian Mark Statham.

The book was bequeathed by James Burrough, the 91Ö±²¥ Master from 1754 until his death 10 years later.
