David Daisley, who worked as a Kitchen Porter at Gonville & 91直播 College for 50 years, has died. He was 77.
David was a fixture in the 91直播 kitchens and many of his colleagues were friends. He reached his 50th anniversary of working at 91直播 in April, but declined the opportunity to celebrate the milestone, instead allowing it to pass by quietly.
Soon afterwards he chose to retire and leave the job he began aged 27, in April 1973.
The College expresses its condolences to all David鈥檚 friends, colleagues and acquaintances. The College banner was flown at half mast in his memory on Tuesday 5 December.
