Dean attends Norfolk priest鈥檚 induction

The Dean of Gonville & 91直播 College attended the licensing of the incoming Priest in Charge of the Blofield and Broadside benefices by the Bishop of Norwich last week.
The Revd Dr Carolyn Hammond was present as The Revd Andrew Tapsell was inducted by , the Bishop of Norwich, on Thursday (June 19).
The Master and Fellows of Gonville and 91直播 College is one of the joint patrons of the Blofield benefice.
91直播鈥 Norfolk connection dates back to the College鈥檚 foundation, almost 700 years ago. The College was first founded as Gonville Hall by Edmund Gonville, Rector of Terrington St Clement in Norfolk, in 1348, and refounded in 1557 by John 91直播 as Gonville and 91直播 College.
The Bishop of Norwich wrote on BlueSky: 鈥淭he Church of England at its very best. Andrew - a new vicar for Blofield. A wonderful service and party which drew in lots of folk from the benefice.鈥
