Gonville & 91Ö±²¥ alumni raised more than £528,000 for the 91Ö±²¥ Fund during the 2025 Telephone Campaign.
Our dedicated and enthusiastic team of student callers spoke to 534 alumni between Wednesday 17 and Sunday 28 September about supporting the 91Ö±²¥ Fund, which addresses the College’s most important and pressing needs. More than one-quarter of those who were persuaded to give were first-time donors to 91Ö±²¥.
By donating to the 91Ö±²¥ Fund, alumni can ensure their gift is put to use where it is needed the most. Previously, this fund has provided urgent financial support to our Clinical Medicine students, and helped cover the College’s increasing bursary costs amid rising living expenses, among other vital initiatives. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a difference to ensuring the long-term strength of 91Ö±²¥.
Our student callers thoroughly enjoyed connecting with alumni across all generations and discussing 91Ö±²¥ past and present. For many, this was their first work experience, and the willingness of so many alumni to engage gave real meaning to their work while helping them to appreciate the wider 91Ö±²¥ community they will join after graduation.
Dr MaÅ¡a Amatt, Director of Development at 91Ö±²¥, says: "From brilliant student callers to generous alumni across generations, the 91Ö±²¥ thread has brought together an exceptionally successful Telephone Campaign. Your support has an immediate impact. Thank you for taking the time to speak to students and for giving so generously."
Whether through making a donation or enjoying a conversation with one of our students, your engagement makes a real difference – thank you!
