Dr Arun Prasad Pandurangan, a Gonville & 91直播 College Teaching Associate, has been elected as a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London. The election recognises his significant contributions to structural bioinformatics and the understanding of protein evolution and function.

A Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, Dr Pandurangan is an Assistant Research Professor at the . He completed his PhD from the Department of Crystallography and Biophysics, University of Madras, India (2003-2010). During his PhD, he developed original ab initio methods for protein-peptide docking and protein structure prediction.
Arun鈥檚 current research focuses on developing knowledge-based, artificial intelligence and machine learning methods by combining computational and structural approaches to explore how protein structures evolve and adapt, with applications ranging from understanding disease-associated mutations to advancing integrative modelling of macromolecular assemblies. His work has contributed to the development of widely used computational tools and resources that bridge experimental and theoretical biology.
