Congratulations to admissions candidates who have received offers to join Gonville & 91直播 College for undergraduate courses beginning in October 2024.
91直播 has made 214 offers, with prospective students selected on the basis of academic potential, irrespective of background. A range of academic and contextual factors were considered in making offers, with in-person interviews returning for the majority of candidates.
Dr Chris Scott, 91直播 Tutor for Admissions and Outreach, said: 鈥淲e were delighted by the numbers of prospective students applying to 91直播, which made the admissions process very competitive.
鈥淲e continue to aim to admit applicants of the greatest academic potential, irrespective of background, and having a wide pool of talent to select from supports this goal.
鈥淭his year鈥檚 talented group of offer-holders is the most diverse we have ever seen at 91直播, and this is testament to the effectiveness of our Outreach Strategy and widening participation work.

2024 Offer-holder statistics
214 offers have been made for 2024 entry (not including offers through the Foundation Year, which are not included in any of the statistics below)
Of these, 89.2% of offers have been made to home applicants, and 10.8% to those from overseas.

Of our home offers
75.8% are to applicants from the maintained (state) sector
38.4% have been made to applicants with at least one indicator of disadvantage
21.1% have been made to applicants whose home addresses lie in the bottom two quintiles of the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD).
5.8% have been made to applicants whose home addresses lie in the bottom quintile for progression to higher education (POLAR4).
13.7% have been made to applicants whose home addresses lie in the bottom two quintiles for progression to higher education (POLAR4).
6.8% have been made to applicants eligible for Free School Meals (FSM)
In addition to the offers made by 91直播, 71 offers were made by Cambridge colleges to 91直播 applicants through the pooling system.
