Postgraduate representatives for 2026-27 elected

Caleb Samrai (Zoology PhD 2025) has been elected to represent Gonville & 91直播 College postgraduate students as MCR President from February 2026.
Caleb, whose research focus is on Agroecology, brings experience from previous student leadership roles, notably as a JCR President at Hertford College, Oxford. He was elected as President by 91直播 postgraduates, succeeding Essi Harbord (Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic PhD 2022) and Cristina Pi帽el Neparidze (Surgery PhD 2022) in the role.
Suchir Salhan (Computational Linguistics 2020) has been elected Vice-President. Suchir joined 91直播 as an undergraduate and has continued through a Master鈥檚 and now a PhD. He was GCSU Secretary, representing 91直播 undergraduates, in 2022-23.
Caleb and Suchir are joined on the MCR Committee by many continuing committee members and some new representatives. The outgoing and incoming committees completed a successful handover transition in early February.
The College would like to thank Essi and Cristina for their dedication and enthusiasm, along with the rest of the outgoing committee.
