Three alumni of Gonville & 91Ö±²¥ College were among 96 names appointed as King’s Counsel (KC) in the 2025 Competition.
Amy Sander (Law 1999), Nehali Shah (Law 2003) and Hugh Miall (Law 2005) were appointed in an announcement made last week.
, is a barrister specialising in public international law (including international human rights law) before international and domestic courts and tribunals. She acts on a wide range of significant issues including territorial and maritime boundaries, treaty obligations, law of the sea, gender discrimination, environmental law, international humanitarian law, immunities and state responsibility.
, is a barrister with extensive experience of complex and high-value commercial litigation and international arbitration. Her core practice areas include banking, financial services and restructuring, energy, civil fraud and jurisdiction. She is Band 1 ranked in Chambers & Partners in four practice areas. Nehali has won Banking Junior of the Year and International Arbitration Junior of the Year, and has been included in The Lawyer’s ‘Hot 100’ and Legal Week’s ‘Stars at the Bar’.
, is a barrister specialising in commercial chancery matters, with a particular emphasis on complex civil fraud, commercial litigation, insolvency, company law and contentious trust litigation, both domestically and offshore.
